Prenatal Massage

There are many benefits to receiving regular massage therapy throughout your pregnancy. Some of these benefits include relief of stress and promotion of relaxation, relief of muscle spasms, cramping and myofascial pain, increased circulation of blood and lymph, relief of stress of weight bearing joints, and it can help improve sleep.

Whatever you may be feeling physically or emotionally during your pregnancy, your Registered Massage Therapist is there to provide you with the comfort and support you need by utilising various massage and relaxation techniques.

Postpartum Massage

Giving birth is like running a marathon. Your body needs time, care and attention as it heals. Whether you have specific concerns or are just achy all over, a massage during the postpartum period is a gift to yourself.

Infant Massage

Babies benefit from massage too! Learn techniques to help relieve constipation, indigestion and increase the release of "happy" hormones to stimulate a sense of well being. A positive bonding experience for parents and babies.

Abdominal Therapy based on the work of Dr Rosita Arvigo

This service can help:

  • Ease menstrual pain

  • Prepare your body for conception

  • Support IVF, IUI & fertility treatments

  • Heal from birth

  • Soothe Digestion

This beautiful and profound work has been lovingly passed from Don Elijio Panti, a traditional Maya healer in Belize, to Dr. Rosita Arvigo and on to the many practitioners worldwide who have sought their teachings.

What to Expect during your Abdominal Therapy Session: It begins with a comprehensive exploration of your personal health story. Then the Abdominal Therapy treatment involves an external massage of your entire abdomen, back, hips, and sacrum. Massaging these areas systematically and thoroughly optimizes the circulation of all the systems in your body.

We call this NAVEL: Nerve, Arterial and Venous blood, Energy, and Lymph. Homecare practices based on your needs and goals will be recommended.

As our gift to you, your therapist will teach you how to perform Your Abdominal Massage (YAM), an intentional self-healing practice to support your health goals.

I’m so excited to share this work with you and look forward to hearing about your experience with it. If you have any questions, please contact me.

Therapeutic Massage

The focus of a therapeutic massage is to address specific areas of discomfort and usually involves techniques that provide deeper pressure such as trigger point therapy or Soft Tissue Release. The longer the treatment time, the more areas of the body we can address, or the more focused we can be on a particular issue.

Breast Massage

Relief from mastitis, PMS related breast congestion, encourage lymphatic flow post-mastectomy. This can be a part of any Therapeutic, Postpartum or Prenatal Massage.
